If takes a while
It took me roughly one hundred games to get to gold but I started in beta.
Best advice I can tell you is teamwork and only chose champs you know well
I played tf from beta to season 4? 5? For example some 500 games with him. At plat I could take on Yasuo mid lane and be fine.
